Live Out Loud makes strategic business and programming decisions based in-part by its advisory council. This council is comprised of local businesses, civic and community leaders, students, lay leaders, and LoL volunteer board members to include:

CLODAGH
Internationally renowned, Irish-born designer Clodagh creates environments as art to live in. Her trademark is an inventive and sensitive use of materials. Clodagh was among the first designers to use Feng Shui principles from the inception of every design. Clodagh Design, an architectural and interior design studio, has completed major international commercial, residential, retail, spa and corporate image projects - including a conference center in Japan for Dentsu, the world's largest advertising agency and Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salons & Spas across the United States & Europe. Architectural Digest has named her as one of the world's 100 leading interior designers in 1995. She was inducted into Interior Design's Hall of Fame in 1997.

Bryan Day
Is a member of the research faculty at the School of Public Policy at George Mason University. Highlighted among his current research portfolio is “Sesno Reports,” a series of public affairs programs airing on public television, which examines issues such as homeland security, taxes and underage drinking. As part of his academic appointment, Bryan researches and produces the Critical Infrastructure Protection Program's “Critical Conversation” series for the School of Law. In addition, he is a contributor to the CIPP Report where he has authored articles on port security, food bioterrorism and the media's new “public service” role. From 1998-2001, Bryan worked at the White House as a deputy director and a special assistant.

Michael Ingersoll
A media veteran, Reverend Michael Ingersoll has been a student of Interfaith and New Thought spirituality for over a decade. Rev. Ingersoll is currently a faculty member of The New Seminary in New York, and also serves as the Associate Minister for The Sacred Center for Spiritual Living. His participation in various community affairs and services was granted national recognition, resulting in awards including Lifetime Television’s National Family Matters Community Affairs Award.

Eric Marcus
A Queens native, Eric Marcus is a renowned author of gay and lesbian literature. Best known for Breaking the Surface, the best-selling autobiography of the HIV-positive Olympic diving champion Greg Louganis, Mr. Marcus’ other well-known books include What if Someone I Know is Gay?, Is It a Choice? and Making Gay History: The Half-Century Fight for Lesbian and Gay Civil Rights. A former Associate Producer for ABC’s Good Morning America, Mr. Marcus’s most recent project is "Pessimisms: Famous (and not-so-famous) Observations, Quotations, Thoughts and Ruminations on What to Expect When You’re Expecting the Worst," which will be published in April 2003.

David Martin
As a producer and arts administrator, David Martin has been significant contributions to the theater community. He has worked with organizations such as The Actor’s Fund of America, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Rejoicensemble and Jazz Dance America among others. At present, Mr. Martin is the Director of Communications and Public Affairs at In the Life Media, and formerly served as Assistant to the Fiscal Director and Development Associate at the National Black Theatre in Harlem.

Cathy Renna
A respected media activist for more than a decade, Cathy Renna currently serves as News Media Director for the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) and has been at the forefront of lesbian and gay community activism at both the local and national levels. Ms. Renna helped coordinate the group’s “Come Out with Ellen” event and has overseen several subsequent community-based campaigns against defamation and misinformation about the gay community. She also worked with student and activist groups in coordinating media relations for the Matthew Shepard trial. A sought-out spokesperson, Ms. Renna regularly appears in The New York Times, The Washington Post and CNN, as well as local mainstream media outlets.

Daryl Roth
Having produced four Pulitzer Prize-winning stage productions, Daryl Roth is an irrevocable force in the New York theater world. Her acclaimed productions include the David Auburn’s Tony Award-winning drama Proof, Margaret Edison’s Wit, Paula Vogel’s How I Learned to Drive and Edward Albee’s Three Tall Women. A member of the Board of Directors at the Lincoln Center Theater and the Sundance Institute, Ms. Roth’s most recent productions include the 2002 Tony-winning The Goat, or Who is Sylvia, Harlem Song, Bea Arthur on Broadway and the phenomenal De La Guarda, now in its fourth year at the Daryl Roth Theatre. In an effort to encourage and nurture careers in theater, Ms. Roth also established the annual Creative Spirit Award six years ago.

Jordan Roth
A Princeton University alum, Jordan Roth recently produced the acclaimed Broadway revival of The Rocky Horror Show at Circle in the Square Theater. Mr. Roth also produces international disco club hit The Donkey Show, which has also been staged in Europe. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Horace Mann School and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Hal Rubenstein
A New York native, Hal Rubenstein has been an integral part of In Style Magazine since the publication’s inception in 1994, currently serving as its Fashion Director. Prior to that, Mr. Rubenstein served as Men’s Style Editor for New York Times Magazine for four years, and later founded the innovative Egg Magazine. A restaurant critic for New York Magazine, Mr. Rubenstein also regularly offers fashion commentary on Good Morning America, The View and Full Frontal Fashion among other programs.

Paul Slee
A New York-based consultant in non-profit theater management, Paul Slee has served for many years as Executive Director of New Dramatists, where he supported the inception of more than 750 new plays. Mr. Slee is a volunteer member of the New Dramatist’s Community Council and serves on the advisory board of the Civilians, a new Manhattan-based theatrical company.

Robert E. Webber
A true fashion authority, Robert Webber currently serves as Design Director of NINA Footwear and founded the trend forecasting, marketing and merchandising consultancy Generation 21, Inc. Mr. Webber spent a decade at Kenneth Cole, eventually serving as Divisional Vice President of its Unlisted and Reaction lines for women. In addition to his national projects, Mr. Webber has worked extensively abroad in Brazil, Thailand, China and Italy. His many esteemed clients have included Aggressive Entertainment and Limelight.
